The construction of the new District Office is moving forward following the issuance of a building permit. The foundation has been completed and the wall framing is scheduled to start on February 8, 2017.
The builder, Copestone General Contractors, was awarded the contract to construct the building at a cost of $1,028,563. The Board began setting aside funds for the building in January 2013. The construction costs are being financed with a combination of funds in the District Capital Project Fund and an $809,000 lease purchase financing with Farmers State Bank.
